The eboard of Local 294 is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our national representative, Peter Zera. Pete was a benevolent, intelligent, and unwavering advocate for our union. He was always accessible, self-sacrificing, and dedicated to assisting everyone he could. Pete played a pivotal role in transforming our local into what it is today and was always focused on positive change. He will be dearly missed.

A GoFundMe has been organized on behalf of his family to ease their financial burden. It can be found here. Additionally, an amazon wish lists for holiday gifts have been created for Pete's son Sammy, and his niece Katalina and nephew James. 

The election results are in! Congratulations to Timothy Cormier and Ian Pieper for retaining the Vice President 2 and Vice President 3 positions respectively. 

Congratulations to Jonathan Ratsombath on winning the Chief Steward position! Jon has been fighting tirelessly to help BUEs as a steward and will no doubt do an excellent job in his new role within the eboard.
